KA - Mrs. Kerry Beausoleil

Mrs. Beausoleil has been with St. Joseph School for 3 years now. She lives in Medford with her husband and two children, Isabella and Jack. In her free time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing about teaching is watching the children grow and mature through each grade. Mrs. Beausoleil attended Merrimack College where she studied Elementary Education and Psychology.


KB - Ms. Katelin Crocker

Miss Crocker is now in her 2nd year of teaching at SJS. She is from Wakefield, and also has a beach house in York, Maine where she loves to spend her free time. Miss Crocker attended Salem State College where she got her degree in Elementary Education and Psychology.


1A - Mrs. Patricia Capuccio

Mrs. Capuccio has been teaching First grade at SJS for 7 years now. She loves the support she receives from fellow teachers, and all the wonderful events that the SJMC coordinates. Mrs. Capuccio is from Cambridge where she lives with her husband. She has 3 great children, 1 son and 2 daughters. In her free time she enjoys taking walks, gardening and reading. She received both her bachelors and master’s degrees from Cambridge College.


1B - Mrs. Shauna LaPointe

Mrs. LaPointe joined SJS last year to teach 5th grade Social Studies, Religion and English. This year she continues her journey with us teaching grade 1. She lives in Malden with her husband, and loves to spend time with her large family. She is the 5th of 6 children in her family. Mrs. LaPointe graduated with Honors from Fitchburg State College with a B.S. in Education and minors in Science, Math and History.


2A - Mrs Meghan Moretti

Mrs Moretti continues to strive at St. Joe's in her 2nd year of teaching. She graduated from Framingham State College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. She is from Belmont and in her free time she enjoys singing, going to the beach on Cape Cod and spending time with friends and family.  Meghan is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Education at Fitchburg State College and is a member of the honor society at FSC.


2B - Miss Deirdre Foley

Miss Foley has been a teacher for 8 years and at SJS for 3. She is originally from New Jersey, but now resides in Cambridge. One of her favorite parts of teaching Grade 2 is preparing the students to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. In her spare time she loves to return to New Jersey to visit her beautiful nieces, cook, exercise and travel. Miss Foley graduated with honors from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology.


3A - Mrs. Anne Perella

Mrs. Perella has been a teacher at SJS for 18 years. She loves the sense of community that the staff, students and parents create. Mrs. Perella is from Reading where she lives with her husband. They have 3 daughters and 2 grandsons. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf, walking, reading and cooking. Mrs. Perella attended Salem State College.


3B - Mrs. Nicole Sullo

Mrs. Sullo joined our faculty last year, but has been teaching for 9 years. She loves the family atmosphere and the high standards of academic reputation at SJS. Mrs. Sullo is from Somerville where she resides with her husband and 2 little boys, David and Andrew. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, skiing, watching movies and spending time with family. Mrs. Sullo graduated form Salem State College and Lesley University with a M. Ed in Elementary Education.


4A - Mrs. Melissa Trenga

Mrs. Trenga has been teaching for 9 years and at SJS for 7. She loves being part of the SJS family. The sense of trust and understanding is her favorite part. Mrs. Trenga is from Medford, where she lives with her husband Anthony, and 2 sons, A.J. and Ben. Mrs. Trenga graduated from Lesley University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.

5B - Mrs. Gail Kelley

Mrs. Kelley has been teaching Grade 5 science, math spelling and reading at SJS for 7 years. Prior to joining SJS, she taught grades 4 and 5 in New York and then 7th and 8th grade Special Needs Students in Massachusetts. Mrs. Kelley has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math.

6B - Ms. Roseanne McLaughlin

This is Miss McLaughlin’s second year teaching at SJS. She is the 6th grade Math and Science teacher. She is from Medford, and loves to read and dance. She is also a Red Sox and Patriots fan. Miss McLaughlin attended Salem State College.

7B - Mrs. Sandra Primo

Mrs. Primo has been teaching 7th Grade History and Religion for 4 years at SJS. However, this is her 14th year teaching in a Catholic School. In her free time she enjoys listening to classical music, visiting museums, and traveling with family. Mrs. Primo received a Liberal Arts degree from Boston University, and a M. Ed. From Tufts University.


8A - Sister Catherine

Sr. Catherine has been a school teacher for 50 years, and has been teaching students at SJS for 34 years. She is the 7th and 8th grade Math teacher as well as 8th grade Religion and Literature. In her free time, Sister Catherine enjoys “puttering” with plants, listening to classical and semi-classical music and trying new recipes. Sr. Catherine attended Regis College.


8B - Sister Elizabeth Joseph

Sr. Elizabeth has been a teacher for 51 years, and has been teaching students of the St. Joseph Community for 34 years. In her spare time, Sr. enjoys reading and listening to music to help her relax. Sr. Elizabeth teaches both 7th and 8th graders French here at SJS as well as 8th grade Religion, English and Literature. She attended Regis College.
