Sacrament of Penance

Penance	On January 9, 2010, students of St. Joseph School and students from our parish received the sacrament of Penance also known as Reconciliation. This is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church and the first children receive since Baptism.

This is an opportunity for youngsters, but for all Catholics, to converse with a priest and carefully reflect on their lives, their challenges and how to become better Christians. The students will receive the joyous sacrament of Holy Eucharist, commonly known as first Holy Communion early in May.

Preparation of the children for these gifts was done by the teachers of Saint Joseph School and the parish CCD program.
